Pink October is the month when the whole world comes together to raise awareness about breast cancer! Every year in October, this campaign reminds everyone of the importance of early detection and simple actions to take care of yourself.
And that's where Re-source comes in! As a flagship initiative for supporting people affected by cancer, Re-source offers several activities driven by the desire to surround those affected by the disease with human warmth. Located in Delta, this house is a real place where patients, loved ones and health professionals meet, exchange and benefit from various services. They can find resources, a listening ear, sharing with former patients, advice from health professionals and psychological, physical and social renewal activities. The goal is to create an environment conducive to healing, both physically and psychologically.
Re-source therefore offers a range of varied services, from individual consultations to group workshops. Among the activities offered, we find:
- Psychological support : Listening and support to help you get through difficult times.
- Physical activities : Yoga, Nordic walking and creative activities to promote relaxation and resilience.
- Strengthening social bonds to avoid isolation by sharing with other members, etc.
This is the fourth year that Hopono is proud to partner with Re-source to support this noble cause. On October 13 , a portion of our sales will be donated to the association. That day, the Re-source team will be there to raise awareness about cancer in general, with surprises on the program.
